The good news is that in a standard first offense DUI, even if you do sustain a drivers license suspension, you can usually get a restricted license within 30 days. This allows you to drive to and from work related activities and any court or DMV imposed alcohol program.
In order to get a “restricted” license, you will need to do the following:
1) Complete a 30 day “hard” suspension
2) Pay a reissue fee
3) enroll in a 3 month First Offender Drinking Driver Program (FOP)
We can guide you through this process at the appropriate time.Back to DUI Practice Area
